Qualifications - 2 year tech degree or equivalent years of experience in greenhouse finished annuals growing, plug growing, germination, poinsettias, garden mums and production. In addition, supervisory experience, computer knowledge and bilingual Spanish skills are a plus. Minnesota Non-Commercial Pesticide license preferred. Applicant must be a hand on self-starter and be able to work independently. Position is year round, full time including benefits.

Dan & Jerry’s Greenhouse is seeking a seasonal In House Corporate Sales Representative. We sell bedding and vegetable plants as well as nursery stock to independent garden centers, mass merchants and super market chains in a seven state area.

As an In House Sales Rep you would be handling a group of corporate accounts and developing that relationship on a daily basis. Duties would include generating reports, analyzing sales data, inspecting inventory, phoning clients and entering their plant orders into the computer.

Requirements for this position are: excellent communication skills both on the phone and in person, knowledgeable with a computer, ability to stay organized in a very busy work environment, along with a good general knowledge of annuals and perennials..
